Chatfield’s 6th Annual Corn Maze promises participants the most challenging to date. The maze is in the design of three, huge columbine flowers that cover five acres in a twisting, turning pathway created by nine-foot tall stalks of corn. Two 15-foot illuminated bridges overlook the giant corn maze and a smaller maze will thrill the younger children. The maze is open Friday-Sunday through Oct. 31. Families might want to combine a trip to the maze with the 17th Annual Pumpkin Festival that will be held Oct. 8. Hayrides, barrel train rides will excite the children.
